The World Perfumery Congress (WPC) 2014 will be held June 10–12, 2014 at the Centre International Deauville (CID) in Deauville, France. Often referred to as the "queen of the Norman beaches", Deauville offers beautiful beaches, charming hotels, a grand casino and unique shopping. Getting There

Deauville is ideally located between sea and countryside, in the heart of Normandy and only 2 hours from Paris. Liberty Incentives & Congresses France will be providing transportation options from Paris for €145 one-way or €290 round-trip (return). These options can be booked online during the registration process.

International Air Travelers

Attendees may fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly (ORY) airport. Attendees can continue on via an array of transportation options to Deauville (see below).

Domestic Air Travelers

Attendees traveling from London can fly into Deauville using CityJet. CityJet flys to/from Deauville on Fridays and Sundays.


Take SNCF from multiple European destinations to Trouville-Deauville or connect through Paris Saint-Lazare. Paris Saint-Lazare station is approximately 2 hours to Deauville-Trouville station and makes several round trips per day. The Deauville-Trouville station is located 200 m from the city center of Deauville.

Drive From Paris

Take A13 from Paris to Deauville. Approximately 195 km, including 186 km of motorway (average time: 2h05mn). Toll rates average €11.40 one way. For further information, contact the SANEF.

International Travelers: Apply For Your Visa Early

France allows citizens of many foreign countries to enter the country without a visa. For a listing of those countries that a visa is not a requirement to enter France, please visit France Diplomatie.

Obtain a "Letter of Invitation"

The World Perfumery Congress cannot assist you with the interview process, nor can anyone representing the WPC call the embassy or consulate on your behalf to provide support for granting a visa.

If you are denied a visitor visa, you may reapply if there is new evidence to overcome the basis for the refusal. In the absence of new evidence, consular officers are not required to re-examine such cases.
